Rohit Sharma Scores 4th Century In One World Cup, Most By Any Indian Batsman

Rohit Sharma, who was in sublime shape in the 2019 World Cup, scored his fourth century World Cup match against Bangladesh on Tuesday to break Sourav Ganguly’s record in one World Cup over the decades. In the 2003 World Cup, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly scored three centuries.

He had opened his World Cup campaign with an unbeaten 122 against South Africa on 5 June. He followed it with a half-century against Australia and a ton against Pakistan. Rohit hit his third ton of the World Cup 2019 against England on 30 June but it went in vain as India lost the match by 31 runs.
